Craig McCarthy’s journey in the composites industry began in 1999, fueled by his early experience as an experimental aircraft fabricator and pilot—an endeavor that sparked his lifelong passion for aerospace. Joining Aerodine Composites as a laminator, his technical expertise and leadership quickly propelled him through the ranks, ultimately leading to his appointment as Chief Engineer and later President in 2013.
Craig holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering Technology from Purdue University and a Master of Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University, equipping him with a powerful blend of technical acumen and strategic vision. His commitment to advancing the aerospace industry extends beyond Aerodine; he co-founded the Indiana Advanced Aerospace Manufacturing Alliance and actively participates in key professional organizations.
As a licensed FAA Inspector and Repairman, Craig upholds the highest standards of aviation safety and quality. His leadership and engineering excellence have been recognized with prestigious accolades, including graduating from Leadership Hendricks County and receiving the Louis Schwitzer Award from the Society of Automotive Engineers in 2020 for groundbreaking contributions to automotive engineering.

General Manager
With nearly three decades of experience in motorsports and manufacturing, Amber has built a career on adaptability, leadership, and a deep understanding of operations from the ground up. Starting in 1995 at Motorsports Spares, she quickly transitioned into sales, forging key industry relationships that opened doors to high-profile roles across top racing teams, including PacWest Racing, Hemelgarn Racing, Panther Racing, Roth Racing, and Conquest Racing.
Throughout her career, Amber has excelled in purchasing, logistics, team management, budgeting, operational strategy, and management—earning a reputation as a hands-on leader willing to take on any task, from payroll and travel coordination to pit lane support. Since joining Aerodine over a decade ago, she has played a crucial role in every aspect of the business, driving efficiency, optimizing processes, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
With an unmatched work ethic and a passion for learning, Amber brings a unique blend of experience, problem-solving, and operational excellence to the role of General Manager, ensuring the company’s long-term success and growth.
Senior Corporate Controller
Nathan brings a wealth of experience across diverse industries, including transportation, healthcare, telecommunications, and manufacturing. Throughout his career, he has been a catalyst for innovation and process optimization within finance and accounting, specializing in areas such as FP&A, forecasting and budgeting, pricing, accounts payable, and internal audit.
Since joining Aerodine Composites in August 2021, Nathan has taken charge of all financial and accounting processes as Senior Corporate Controller, driving operational efficiency and ensuring strategic financial oversight.
Nathan holds a Bachelor of Science in Management and a Master’s in Accounting from Indiana University. He is also a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA), further cementing his expertise in the field.
Vice President of Business Development
With over 20 years of experience in advanced composites, Matt Knight is a highly accomplished industry leader with a deep understanding of aerospace, defense, and automotive manufacturing. His career began as an F-16 Crew Chief in the United States Air Force, where he developed technical expertise in mechanical systems and complex troubleshooting. Since then, he has held progressive leadership roles spanning fabrication, production management, sales, customer support, business development, and executive leadership.
Matt has a proven track record of driving strategic growth, spearheading business development initiatives, and managing high-profile aerospace and defense programs. His expertise encompasses composite aerostructures, rotorcraft, unmanned systems, space vehicles, and special mission modifications. With a focus on innovation and problem-solving, he excels at collaborating with customers to develop tailored solutions that address the most challenging engineering and manufacturing requirements.
Serving as Vice President of Business Development at Aerodine Composites, Matt is responsible for driving sales strategies, managing customer relationships, and expanding the company’s market presence. His extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) integration, program management, and technical sales provides him with the insights needed to support both commercial and defense clients effectively.
A veteran with an active Top Secret security clearance, Matt continues to contribute to the advancement of cutting-edge aerospace technologies. His leadership, industry knowledge, and customer-focused approach make him a trusted partner for organizations seeking high-performance composite solutions.
Program Manager
Jeff’s lifelong passion for aviation and automotive racing laid the foundation for a dynamic career in aerospace and automotive technology, with a specialization in advanced composite structures. With a BFA in Illustration and an A&P license earned in 1990, Jeff brings a unique blend of technical expertise and creative problem-solving to the industry.
Over the past 34 years, Jeff has built extensive experience in composites, progressing from a Laminating Technician and Pattern Maker to Vice President of Operations, mastering every role in between. As a hands-on leader, he thrives in both manufacturing and team management, ensuring precision and excellence in every project.
Now focusing on Program Management, Jeff collaborates closely with Aerodine Production, leveraging his deep industry knowledge to meet and exceed customer expectations. His commitment to clear communication and seamless project execution ensures clients remain fully informed and confident in every step of the process.
