FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
In Q4 2022, Aerodine set out to support future engineers by hosting their 2nd annual FSAE Sponsorship Contest. The online poll gave everyone a chance to vote for the school that they wish to be sponsored by Aerodine for the 2022-23 season of the already popular Formula SAE’s Student Competition.
The FSAE competition invites engineering schools from all over the world to design, build and test a race car prototype based on a series of rules determined by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE).
With the online voting now finalized across the community — Aerodine is proud to announce that the Aerodine Sponsorship Winner for 2023 is the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Motorsports team. In preparation for this year’s Formula SAE competitions in Brooklyn, Michigan, Aerodine will provide MIT Motorsport with a professional grade front wing main plane made to their specification, a contribution valued at $15,000.
“We are so excited to work with Aerodine’s team of engineers to bring our aerodynamics package to the next level! We also want to thank our community for helping us win this amazing opportunity.” said Megan Gupta-She, President of the school’s FSAE Team.
Max Thouin, Aerodine’s Vice President of Sales and Business Development also shared the following: “After such a successful collaboration with last year’s contest winners, the Aerodine team looks forward to the 2023 Formula SAE season. Following the students and seeing them work through adversity is truly inspiring. We are looking forward to supporting the team at MIT for this year’s edition.”
